Form I-20 & SEVIS

CSUDH will begin processing your Form I-20 after you have been admitted to the university, submitted all final transcripts and submitted all required documentation, as listed below.

Required Documentation:

  1. A copy of the first page of your valid passport
  2. An approved Affidavit of Financial Support and all supporting bank statements showing you have adequate funds to meet financial obligations of enrollment at a U.S. university. For more information, click here. 

If you are transferring from a U.S. institution, you must contact the International Student Advisor (DSO) at your current school and request for your SEVIS record to be transferred to California State University, Dominguez Hills. Our SEVIS code is LOS214F00655000. Once we receive your SEVIS record and all required documentation, as listed above, we can begin processing your CSUDH Form I-20.

Once you have received your CSUDH Form I-20, be sure to:

  1. Review your Form I-20 to ensure that academic and personal information is correct.
  2. Sign your Form I-20 right away.
  3. Pay the SEVIS I-901 Fee. You may do this by visiting fmjfee.com.
  4. Show your Form I-20 to Customs.
  5. Bring your Form I-20 to International New Student Orientation (NSO).
