CSUDH has more than 90 officially recognized student clubs and organizations. By becoming involved with a club or organization, students meet peers with similar or different interests, gain knowledge and skills relevant to their academic and career paths, and deepen their connection to the university.
Involvement in clubs and organizations can also set students apart from their peers when entering graduate school or the workforce. Employers recognize that involved students are leaders and possess many of the skills they are looking for. The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), has designated eight key competencies that employers desire most in college graduates:
