Re-apply for Housing

Housing Reapplication 

Current University Housing residents do NOT need to re-apply for Spring 2024. Your 2023-24 application and License Agreement cover both Fall 2023 and Spring 2024.

Winter Break (December 16, 2023 - January 18, 2024) is also included in your 2023-24 License Agreement. Current residents pay no additional room fees for living on campus during Winter Break.

If you are currently living on campus and intend to leave Housing permanently at the end of Fall semester, please send an email to housing@dektinary.com to inquire about the License Cancellation process.

Applications for Summer 2023 and Academic Year 2024-25 will open in MARCH 2024.

March 27 - April 28, 2023 for continuing/returning CSUDH students.

Official Move-in Dates

Wednesday, August 16 - Thursday, August 17, 2023 for current resident room changes.

Thursday, August 24, 2023 for students NEW to CSUDH (first-year and transfer).

Saturday, August 26, 2023 for continuing/returning CSUDH students.


All dates are subject to change.

* Current residents who re-apply for Housing do NOT have to pay another Security Deposit.

Applications received after the above-noted priority dates may be waitlisted.

As a reminder, all students living on campus are REQUIRED to complete the COVID-19 Vaccination Self-Certification form on their My.CSUDH.edu portal. This self-certification provides the campus with critical information needed to maintain a safe campus environment. Failure to complete the COVID-19 Vaccination Self-Certification form will result in the cancellation of your License Agreement.
